How the democratic party created it’s voter base

Before FDR, the number of people on the government dole was insignificant. People worked, lived, died and rose to their heights based on their abilities. With the New Deal program however, Roosevelt’s administration created a new class of Americans. Those whose existence depended on frequent, and increasingly generous, handouts from the government. But we must immediately recognize one important fact. The government cannot give you anything because it has nothing to give. The government can only give you what it takes from someone else.

So I was leaving work last night and I saw a snake like shape in the parking lot. Swerving to avoid hitting it, I quickly parked my car and with the engine running leapt out to apprehend the reptilian prey.

Someone else had already gotten it though, head bashed in and rattler cut off I decided I’d still get a bit of fun out of it.

So I draped it along the running board of my manager’s SUV…. Having grown up in west texas, I think this is absolutely hilarious.

We’ll see what she thinks tomorrow when I find out whether or not I still have a job . :P

Note: this was previously a private entry I made back in August. I’m now making it public…

Sitting here on the floor of my apartment, writing a blog entry that I know I may never post.

My boss, CC, is running me ragged. I’ve seriously contemplated finding out where the San Antonio VA hospital is simply to go and get my prescription of Effexor XR renewed and refilled. The store has me under such a huge load of stress, that I’m not sure if I’ll be able to maintain a normal life without some kind of drug intervention. The fact that I already have to take antacid medication every morning before work is sign enough that the stress is having a physical effect on my body. Why work for a place that causes such detrimental side effects on your health? Good question.
