I decided a while ago to return to school to pursue a degree in finance. I really want to be able to get my degree and then work for the OCC while I get my master’s degree.
Actually, that’s not right. I wanted to be able to finish my 120 hour degree in the Texas Tech system and then use the Hazelwood act to finish my masters before I got a job, but since I have so many (now unneccesary) credits in chemistry I will break 150 total hours before I graduate.
First semester classes are registered for:
- Principles of Accounting
- US Govt II
- Principles of MicroEconomics
- Principles of MacroEconomics
- basic stupid “Here’s how to use the computer” course
- Business Math I
so with 18 hours my first time back into school in YEARS, I’m gonna be a busy busy person starting January 20th.
11/30/08: edited to change one of the Business Math’s to US Govt II
Well, Business Math 1 should be a no-brainer. I took that one as an elective, and was tutoring two or three people in the class. Always had the assignments done before class was over, just handed it in as I left. Prof wanted to know why I was in there anyway.
