Tried it again, this time without quite so much seasoning. Made two different breads, one with ham (close) and another fruit bread.

I call it “bread” instead of bread because, as my first attempt, I’m simply happy that I didn’t make dog food =P
Was trying to follow the recipe mom left me. Started out with the 3 cups of flour, salt, yeast, then went down to the “Italiano” section and started adding ingredients from there. Then realized that those were for a 7 cups of flour mix and I didn’t want to make that much. Didn’t rise very well, tasted a bit on the strong side, but still good. pics after the jump
